What is Qigong?
Qigong is an ancient healing art with its origins in China from over 5,000 years ago. Qigong is a simple practice fit for beginners. The practice opens the body’s energy channel
& balances/ harmonizes the elements within the body. Qigong uses slow and gentle movements, combined with a soft breath and visualization.
Qigong has many benefits including improved health and well-being and it can also help us to have a strong immune system (which we all can use right now!). Some Qigong practitioners experience decreased pain, increased relaxation, improved posture and joint mobility, better respiration, and improved energy and concentration.
Heather has been practicing Qigong for over ten years and has used it as a healing modality to assist her to successfully recover from chronic fatigue and multiple concussions. She has practiced and studied a number of styles of Qigong over the years but especially resonates with medical qigong for self-healing.
